Re. sexual relationships — are you saying that gov’t should not recognize any marriages? That would be consistent. I don’t want or excpect the gov’t to regulate homosexual relationships, even though I view them as sinful. But gov’t has a reason to get involved with heterosexual unions, which by nature and design produce the next generation.

If gays want to have relationships they should be able to do so without gov’t interference. But the gov’t shouldn’t endorse or recognize them as “marriages.”

Malachi’s comment about robbing God was directed toward the corrupt priests, not the people, who were being robbed by the priests.

The tithe is for the poor and for a communion meal with God.

this is rarely obeyed now. Tithe is spent on salaries for pastors, who are not priests, and for building costs. The poor are expected to pay tithes too, and do not receive much back, if anything at all.
